A prospective buyer walks into a sales center expecting floor plans and perhaps a water cooler. At Pengzhanhui Square in Shenzhen, designed by Ocean Luo for Hexinglong Industrial Co. LTD, visitors find themselves beneath a ceiling that channels moonlight itself. The 600-square-meter space functions simultaneously as commercial environment and cultural experience. Ocean Luo selected the moon as the primary artistic concept, drawing from centuries of Chinese literary tradition where lunar imagery represents reunion, love, and family connection. The material palette of terrazzo, gradient glass, and wooden grilles creates an atmosphere the designer describes as bright moonlight over the sea. The Golden A' Design Award-winning project demonstrates how real estate brands can transform functional sales environments into brand manifestation opportunities through carefully orchestrated cultural symbolism.
